1/2" fuel line or 3/8" ?

Is 3/8" fuel line sufficient enough or is upgrading to 1/2" a better choice? Will be installing dual cp3's soon, just want to know if I should upgrade during cp3 install.

My truck is stock and I went through two fuel system upgrades. The first, a Walbro, used a 3/8 line and was fine until the pump went out. Then I had to find something else to work, I stuck a used Holley Blue in and it worked for about 30 days. I think a piece of motor brush got stuck somewhere as I tore the motor down and put it back together and it now works.

Anyhow, I purchased an Air Dog 100 and it came with 1/2 inch lines. In my opinion if you are going to go with twin CP3s you should go ahead and use the 1/2 line. Make sure you get an appropriate size fuel pump to feed the line, either the Air Dog 150 or 165 or equivalent pump. Also make sure you use a 1/2 draw tube in the tank to get enough fuel to keep things fed.

Theres the important part.
If you dont change the pick-up then the larger line is a waste.
To answer your question I would run a 1/2 system if I ran duel pumps
