09 6.7???????
sorry, may have been asked many times lately, but searches are bringin me nothin......
lookin to buy a 09 6.7 auto, QCLB, laramie, pretty much loaded... sticker 49k (boise, ID) i know there is the bankruptcy deal, but realistically what is a fair offer??? I think 15-17k off sticker is is fair... opinions. would have stayed to make my offer but it was late and i wasn't goin to wait around for the SM to get done with the other customer... figure good time to buy and keep the 03 for play......

I would think the 15-17 off should be close. There are lots of incentives on the books for the dealers to get the stock out. Should at least keep them from throwing you out...LOL...

I just bought an 09 MC in Utah. MSRP 60.7K. I paid 45.2K plus TTL. No trade-in and I brought a bank check to closing. I used $7K in incentives. I worked that deal pretty hard, so I'm thinking that $15K is the upper end.
Also keep in mind that the factories are not producing anymore, so inventory is dropping. The 2010 model should start rolling off in July-Aug, so that may work in your favor as the existing 2009s get stale on the lot.
Each situation is different. If your doing a trade-in or dealer financing, then there are more variables in the equation and 15-17K off MSRP may be doable as the dealer can make money in other ways on the deal.
If your like me and don't really like the look of the 2010 model, I'd pull the trigger now while selection is good. Deals may get better this fall after the new models hit, but selection will really drop off.

LOL...yeah it has all the toys. I looked far and wide for it. Had to fly to Utah and drive back home to Maryland. So my "new" truck already has 2200 miles!

How did you come up with $7k in incentives?? The rebate is $4k on the '09s, plus $1k Owner Loyalty, and $500 for Credit Union (if you are using one that qualifies)....where did the other $1500 come from? I was told that was all there was?
thanks!

I have been doing lots of shopping around on a leftover '08 or new '09, and I have not found any dealer that will get close to $15k off of MSRP on the '09s. There were a handful of '08s left, and they were between $15k-$17k off (should have jumped on one when i had the chance), but they are about gone now....at least what I'm looking for and that is a Mega Cab, 4x4, automatic.

Larry H. Miller Dodge in Sandy, UT has a large selection of trucks. Talk to Bob Barton in the Internet department. Tell him the Army guy from Maryland sent ya.

Incentives apply for your home region. For Mid-Atlantic area, $4k cash back, $2k loyalty, $500 credit union, and $500 military.

We'll I'm not in the Service so I dont qualify for that one....but I do have a Tax ID # (small business owner) but when I asked if that was still a valid incentive I received conflicting answers. It would have been $250. Funny you mention LHM Dodge....I was actually on their website looking for a leftover '08 (those have $7k rebate). I realized that the Dodge dealers with the most stock of Mega Cab 4x4s were in Utah and Idaho!

I work at a dodge dealership and eight now is not a better time to but a new truck than any. These rebates and stuff are not going to last much longer. With the used truck market going up they are fixing to pull rebates ande things. And depending on the truck you get will deend on the rebates. More the truck, more the rebates. The rebates for a ST may only be 4k. But for a Mega cab larmie may be 10-15k. Right now is a great time to buy any new dodge.
