my pass. side mirror is loose but not from the base. does anyone know if i can
tighten the mirror by where is tilts up. does anyone know how to remove the mirror glass itself? please help!

There was a post on here last year I think where a guy removed his glass and reversed the driver and passenger side mirrors in order to change the orientation of the blind spot.

If I remember correctly, there were pretty good instructions on how to remove the glass. Try doing a search.
