07 Laramie seats in a 06 Big Horn????

Don't know if someone can help me out or not, but I have a 2006 Dodge Ram 2500 Big Horn edition with power drivers seat and manual passenger both cloth. I purchased a set of seats from a 2007 Laramie that are power and heated driver and passenger both leather. My 06 cab harnss will not plug into the main seat harness on the Laramie seats, they are different. The harness off the Laramie seats have 9 wires and my truck has a different style connector with only 7 wires. I thought this was going to be plug and play and all I was going to have to do was put in the heated seat switches, but I was wrong. Does anyone know if the cab seat harness is part of the main truck harness or is it just a jumper harness that would unplug maybe somewhere under the dash. Also when I changed out the radio I noticed three harness that were not pluged into anything, does anyone have an idea on what there for? I figured they were for the heated seat switches and sliding rear window if my truck had these options. I went by my local Dodge dealer today to see if they could tell me what I needed and they were clueless, and the service dept. said they have no wiring diagrams, witch is hard to beleive. Any help would be great, I hate to start hacking up the wiring in the truck. Surely someone had done this before.

Thanks Adam

This might not be any help at all but here goes. Go to http://www.hemitruckclub.com/ and download the '06 service manual for these trucks. I have heard the downloadable version actually have various wiring diagrams but don't know if it's true as I have not looked at it. I'm not sure if the '07 downloadable manual is out yet for free over the internet. I think you can order it from Genos but again I havent a clue as to if it really contains the info you are specifically looking for and I'd hate to see you spend $100 for nothing. Don't give up. Hang in there and keep searching. Hopefully you can get those nicer seats working in there. Good luck

No luck

As of right now I have not figured anything out. I had my four wisdom teeth pulled Friday so putting leather seats in my truck was not on top of my list of things to do if you know what I mean. I think that if I could find a decent Chrysler partsman to take the time and figure out the harness I need, I'd be set. Being in parts sales myself at Peterbilt, I try to go the extra mile to help someone out. When I was up at Dodge the other day researching they didn't seem real enthused about having to look. Well see what happens, I've printed some stuff off out of the manual so well see where that takes me. Thanks for the help and I will let you know if I find out what needs to be done.
