06 TC switch
I am going to install my T/C switch this weekend and I have a question. Some threads say to put the 33 ohm resistor in line of the ground, and some say to put it in the line of the #7 pin on the trans. Does it matter? The other question I have is does the T/C unlock in the tow/haul mode between
3rd and 4th gear shifts, or is it a locked to locked shift?

Put my resistor between switch and ground. Works great. I love my tc lock up switch. When pulling my toyhauler on back roads at low speeds up hills tranny temps rise. A flip of the switch provides almost instant results.

You have to use the resistor or it will throw codes and eventually go to limp mode.
The trans NEVER shifts locked to locked. In TH mode the 3-4 shift uses a pulsed unlock but it is unlocked when the OD engages.
Same on the down shifts.
