ok so i've decided to purchase a smarty for my 06 common rail. I want to order it off this website, but when i went to purchase it I noticed the model number coming up is the 04a model. and on www.madselectronics.com the latest model is the 06a. so is this fine to work on my truck. it says for the 2003-2006. and the other one is for the 2007. my truck was built before the june 2006 date if this helps. thanks

I'd get the 06a....it's the newest hw and so far the software updates seem to come out for it first.

we o4a is not being sold. You will need an 06A either 03-06 or 04-07 the softwares are all the same.

The 03-06 can be used on an 07 and the 04-07 cant be used on an 03 is the only difference.

I also noticed there are two different programs out right now. the S-06A and the S-06A1. Just curious as to what the difference is.

If i purchase it off of this website do i still recieve all the warranty with it. Just making sure this is a registered dealer. or who does it go through. Does Bob Wagner take care of the business on this site. thanks.
