Would my truck already be wired for this? I am having my steering wheel replaced under warranty today due to wear issues. I want to have them add the volume controls on there but the dealership does not seem to have a clue either. Any help on this?

Mine's a SLT. If you remove the bottom shroud from the steering column, you want to see if the connector on the bottom of the column has all 6 wires or if there is wires missing. Mine had all 6. IIRC, the wire on the far left as you are looking at the wheel from sitting in driver's seat is the wire you need for the radio controls.

I'm not sure but the parts should be same for an '06. Mine is an '05.
