on the 06 cd player radio w/ sirius, is there anyway for it to show the song/artist info. i had an xm system and it had that feature. i think the rb1/4 not sure can do it, but can the plain ole radio do it? thanks

The plain ol' cd player...nope. The up level Infinity head unit does. One of the only things I have to say bad about Dodge on this truck. Sell Sirius then don't provide an appropriate display for them.

thanks. that what i was thinkin but just couldnt believe it. i only listen to 198 playboy radio so it doenst matter much.

I cannot get channel 198 on my stock dodge stereo. Do I nned to call sirius to activate that channel? Thats what I had to do with my mobile unit that I keep in the wifes honda

i guess its worth a shot to call sirius. i dont know what it is about 198 but i love it. i guess cause its unedited and anything goes. the gf doesnt care for it much, but shell get over it. but i think everyone would really like the morning show

I just tap the "info" button and see the artist & song. Did you try that?

You have a Laramie. Unless it was ordered without, it has the infinity system which does display that. Myself and bretteaton have the base model CD player which does not.
