06 pulling right after new tires and alignment

Just put new tires on last Friday. When I was switching out the toyos for yokohamas I noticed both front tires were worn on the inside and outside edge. Got it in to the alignment shop that has been doing our alignments for 20+ years this morning and everything was w/in specs. Moved the toe in 1/32" (had 1/16" to start) realigned the steering wheel and now the truck pulls right, it never did before. My question is: is it the tires( the new ones are 265/70/17 they replaced stock size) or too much toe or anything else I should be worried about?

swap left side front tire with the right front if your pull changes you've got a tire issue, if nothing changes point the figure at the alignment machine something may have moved during the compensation

Went out and rechecked the toe in and it was 9/32 the alignment tech said spec is 3/32 +/- 1/16. I reset toe to 2/32 and took for a drive. I have a good blacktop road w/ not much traffic for the test drive. I drove on the right side of the road and truck pulled right, turned around and the same stretch of road drove on the left and the truck pulled left. If the truck had right side pull shouldn't it have went straight or not pulled left as bad? Started to rain so I couldn't do much more testing. Going to drive for a couple of days and see if it solved the prob. Switching the tires is my next step if this doesn't work.

A slight pull to the right is a long time issue. Mine has it but seems to be more road crown than anything. What I look at it the tire wear. I try to set my toe at as close to 0 as possible and still have some. My caster is at 4.9, both sides. I have been told that a little more caster on the passenger side will help with the pull but a solid axle is hard to twist so adj ball joints would be needed. Centering the wheel is easy, just set tires straight and adjust linkage till steering wheel is dead on. Tires can have "radial pull" and some are worse than others. If everything is correct and the tires wear flat, a little pull to the right is just a pain.

Got the same thing. Just had new ball joints and the 2009 steering components upgrade done. Allingment was done too. Had a slight right pull with my old Miclelin AT2s soon as that was done. Then had new 295/70r17 Toyo M/Ts put on last week and the pull is more noticable now - not bad but it will head right if you let the wheel go. And it's not the road crown as some say, it's a pull.
