06 problems

06 problems

ran cylinder kill and #2 cyl not pulling any load or very little. Installed reman injector. Runs great above idle. has rough idle. reran cylinder kill. # 2 cylinder still not pulling a load at idle. Cylinder balance test showed # 2@106 rpm and all the rest@ 103 rpm. Any ideals.

not sure what you mean by 106 rpm? On my AutoEnginuity the balance test gives % I thought.

Anyway, the only thing I could think of is maybe a stuck / broken valve or rings. If the cylinder isn't holding pressure, it won't do anything if you cut it out. Just a thought...

It has to be one of two things. Wiring to the injector, or mechanical problem with that cylinder. While changing the injector did you notice if any of the valves for that cylinder were lower then the rest?
