I just bought a 06 mega cab and it didnt have sirius built in? is the radio still sirius ready? It looks like everyone elses. Is there somewhere I can go and buy something and hook it up myself without getting the sirius box. I dont really want anything glued to my dash. thanks

The radio is satellite ready, but you will still need the Sirius receiver. You can get the factory Sirius module for a clean install. Or save a bunch of money and install a aftermarket Sirius receiver like I did.

Depends on how it was ordered. When I worked at the Dodge dealership here, I made sure that all the long haul trucks (duallys and longbeds) were ordered with sirius in them. Best bet is if you have the entry level deck, is to go to your local stereo shop and replace that deck with a sirius ready deck that won't have anything sticking anywhere.

It would have been cheaper than what the manufacturer tacks onto that sticker price for the other sirius ready deck, plus you get to choose manufacturer and appearance.

Sirius ready decks range from $120 to $499 depending on features.

Go to ebay and get an rb4 or rb1. they have NAV and Sirrus built in
