06 factory Sirius, aftermarket Head unit?

Can you install a aftermarket head and keep the factory sirius? Also, How do you remove the wood bezel around the head unit. Thanks

No the sirius brain is in the stock unit. You will have to get a sirius ready head unit. I couldnt even use the antenna. And to get the woodgrain radio bezel off you have to start at the floor and work your way up. It a pain in the rear. There are many screws so look all over. Once its all off there is a ton of room to work. If a piece is still tight dont pull, just look for more screws.

Are there any manufacturers making a aftermarket replacement? I have not seen any out yet, they'd have to design it around the *****.

What I don't understand is why you can't get sirius radio in the 07 dodge's right now in Canada?(which they said would be available for all 07's) the dealer says it's a late season intro, after jan so if that's the case can I add it when they release itif I buy a new 07 truck),Don't want to buy an aftermarket receiver or put the existing receiver I have now.Is there just a simple little part and antenna that will make it look like it had it from day one???
