Get the 06 or 07!!!! You never know what problems the new motor can have. Get the 5.9 durable workhorse. Stay away from the 7.5 for now

I wouldnt have a problem getting a 6.7. Its a cummins, the most reliable diesel motor in the industry. People say first year problems but im pretty sure cummins has this "engine building" thing down pretty well

I was under the impression this “new 6.7” was already tested for longevity in the UPS Trucks. Correct me if I am wrong, but I remembered this being said somewhere before maybe even here.
I am going to order a new Cab Chassis, How long has Cummins had a good track record? I would buy one in complete confidence. Everyone is scared of the new EPA Reg’s it is a way of the future, get used to it!
Am I not going to buy a Cat 385 because of the new emission mandates on the offroad equipment? Of course not, I welcome change with open arms.
I think the major concern is for the guys that want to modify these trucks, everyone is saying they cannot, well if it has to deal with the almighty dollar rest assured if there is a will there is a way!

Off track a little, but yes I would by the new 07.5 in a heartbeat, not one Cummins has let me down whether it was in a dump truck, truck or heavy equipment.

I'm sure the new 6.7 will be fine, but personally I wouldn't want to buy one new.
