'05+ TPS calibration

Can the '05+ TPS sensors mounted in the pedal be calibrated/reset like the older cable style APPS mounted on the side of the engine?

I believe you have to disconnect your batteries then turn the key on then hook everything back up turn the truck on but dont start it, then push the pedal all the way to the floor slowly and then let it up slowly, at least that's what I've been told.

True for the old APPS setup, looking for a confirmation on the newer pedal style?
