05 Headlight feature..
I was browsing the owners manual and found a new feature. The 05 has a headlight delay that must be enabled by the dealership. You can have the lights stay on after the vehicle has been shut off for either 30, 60, or 90 seconds. Just in case anyone was not aware of it.

All the 3rd gen trucks do that. I dont know abought the adjustable time thing but all I have to do is turn the truck off before the lights and they stay on for 1 minute.

Okay.., I thought it was something new. I imagine it's pretty handy if you have a poorly lit yard. Incidentally I just got back from a cruise around central Alberta. I left at 8 this morning and just got a back. Man that diesel is nice on the highway, lots of rollin hills and turns and she just hauled like nothin..oh my... I think I'm in love.

It wasn't great because I had conditioner in (my truck.., not my hair) and I wasn't really keeping track. Although I fueled up in Rocky and only dropped abit under the full mark when I got home ..185 K I think thats roughly 125 miles. Since reading all the posts here..which have been immensly helpful, I have picked up on not freaking out about the fuel consumption until it's broken in. So far, I only have 2500 K on it.

Any one know how to change the time limit on the head light delay? I haven't read the owners manual on this yet, so if it's in there I might be able to dig it out myself. I just haven't looked, didn't know it could be changed.
