05 5.9 fuel pump problem

Under a half tank my truck acts like it has a clogged fuel filter but the filter is new . Maybe the screen in the tank or trash in the fuel tank or fuel pump getting hot with low fuel . Any help would be great. Above a half of tank it runs strong , full power.

Install an AirDog and problems are gone

IIRC, some folks had issues with a cracked dip tube. As long as the crack was covered in fuel, it sucked fuel. When the fuel level dropped below the crack, it sucked fumes. Might be time to drop the tank and while you have it out, install the vent kit.
