05 1500 gasser with a hemi. question
Buddy of mine has an 05 quadcab hemi ram with an auto. For the last few months he is having a transmission/engine problem and I was wondering if any of you had any gasser or dealershin knowledge.
What happens:
After the truck sits for several hours(or longer) when you take off the truck won't go very well. With your foot on the floor it barely moves. It seems like it is in top gear from takeoff. Once it seemed like it shifted into neutral. Took off and then rpm went up and speed went down.
Anyone ever heard of anything like this? Or know of any TSB with a similar issue? It has been to the dealership 6 times and once they put a torque converter in it and the rest of the times they gave the old " no problem found"
TIA
Leper

Sounds like another tranny issue to me.
I suspect the TC is bad again or the pump isn't pumping.
What's the fluid level in the trans? Try overfilling a quart or two and see if that helps.
