'04 Tranny Options

Haven't posted in awhile, its good to be back... I am looking for some pointers on my auto tranny in my '04 2500. I recently was told that the pressurloc system and a deep tranny pan from BD would get me along fine and at about just under $1k. I was looking around and saw that their full ranny ran about $3k. So my question is, does a guy bite the bullet and go with a full tranny, or will the pressurloc do much for me?
-Any input on other tranny builders would be awsome

Thanks...

It really depends on what you want to do with the truck. How much modification you plan to do. You put any kind of power out and you'll roast it. With that said, you will get every opinion on which brand is better and why. Recommend that you try to find someone in your area that has tranny mods and talk with them. Maybe even con a ride to get a real feel. Also, talk to the various builders and see what they all say for what you want to do. Ask about warranty and try to get the real deal on it. Read the fine print....
My vote goes to DTT. Bottom line!!!!
But, like I said, it depends on what you want to do. Everyone's situation is different, but I have found out that if I tried to do a little here and a little there, it ended up costing me more than if I would have just waited and did it right the first time.
Good luck.

DTT is right across the border in Canada. There have to be plenty of people in your neck of the woods running there trannys. Give them a call.
