Does anyone know what the wiring harness that is in the metal tube next to the crank sensor connects to or whats it's for? My wiring got cut by the fan and it bent the tube,so I can't find the other end . Truck still runs and no ck engine came on as I drove it to the body shop a few blocks away.
Also the tow driver put my truck in 4/wheel drive when they brought it to my house after the wreck and when I was backing out of drive way and turned it felt like my front wheels were binding up real bad. [dry pavement] I figured it out after a couple of turns. Should I ck anything for damage, is that normal for it to do that on these trucks? Mine has never been in 4/w before so I don't know. Thanks and sorry about the long post.

Sound's like the wire's that run to the fan. Turn the key on and off 3 or 4 times and see if you get a code.
