Does anyone know what the overall length of a short bed Q-cab is and also a long bed Q-cab. I'd like to buy a long bed but I don't know if it will fit in my garage. The Dodge web site doesn't say. <br><br>Thanks<br>John

I know with my short bed I have about 6 inches too spare in my garage with about an inch from teh top of the cab too the garage door

I can fit the longbed in my garage but will only have 2 inches to spare. I hate those steel posts they put in front of gas hot water heaters &gt; &gt;. I loose 2 1/2 feet of good garage space just to be safe . It's a sin to waste garage space .<br>Do the short beds have a 6 foot bed or 6.5 foot or some odd size. I need to put my 2 motorcycles in the back and still tow my tt. So I can't put the tailgate down.<br><br>Thanks <br>John

Mine's way too long for my garage and the auto door opener has an arm that hangs down that will hit the roof if I go in more than half way.... I can pull it in halfway though which is nice if we have any hail storms which seem to be more common all the time....
