03 Rear Discs on my Drum Dana 70 axle
If anybody is wondering, Yes, it can be done. I did it to mine. I put the big dual piston calipers and rotors for an 03 3500 Ram on my 93 Dana 70 axle. It took some fabrication of heavy brackets, but it worked nicely. I have posted this on the 1st gen Forums, but it just occured to me that some of these trucks had Dana 70's with drum brakes up to 01.5 and some of you guys with 94 and up might this info useful as well.
