I have an 03 cummins that i am having some problems with. It all started the other day when i got my fuel filter changed the guys at the shop riped out my wires going to my MAP sensor by mistake Because i have a edge ez on it and they wire from the box goes right by the filter so i got that back together or so i thought. The other day i was driving it and notice that at about 2000 RPM my fuel just kinda dies out and i loose power it does not shut down it just loose power so i will shift and again at about 2 grand it just kinda runs out of pull. So i did some looking around and didn't find anything but i tried unplugging my MAP sensor and driving it and i have all my power back. I am kinda thinking my MAP is bad. Does anyone have any ideas. Or does anyone know how to test a MAP sensor Please HELP!

I'd have the shop that ripped out your wires fix your truck... and not the tech who did the ripping. What the heck is wrong with some people?

it was just a jiffy lube and i normally hate going to them i do all my work my self i was just on the road and i needed it done
