03 HO tech ?

First off, HI! ;D
This is my first CTD, I had a powerpuke (97) till last week.
I'm lovin the CTD!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Bit -o- background on me. I pull a 13' trailer w/ my Jeep on it and a 9'6" bed mount camper on board. Most, if not all of my towing is in the mountains. I carry tons of parts and tools (generator, welder....). I can't BOMB it (Yet) it's my company truck (yet in my name), so I have to stick to simple mods (ordered a Dynomax 4" Magnaflow & AH19002 allready).

Here's my questions:
1) Computer cable connection, is there tech specs on building one?
2) What program do I need to access my truck & where do I find it?
3) Air box mods. Do they need to be done and do they void part of my warranty?
4) EGT & other concerns. How do I monitor the EGT & is there anything else I really need to watch.
5) Where is the good online pages for parts??????

Thanks all,
da Mule (Greg)

Re:03 HO tech ?

Mule,
Your picture is wild, man. Now if that were the Dodge you wouldn't be hung up on that little pebble. Welcome to our hangout - - good stuff and good people hang around here and do a lot of sharing.

Your questions: 1 & 2, can't answer.
3) I have the RamAir3 from Wildcat Diesel. Good people. I tow a pretty good size fiver, so I needed all the help I could get on EGT's and still stay "stock" so to speak. It helped accelleration under load quite a bit as well as lowered EGT's
4) EGT monitoring. Contact Wildcat and they can send you one of the best pyro's around according to most of the guys that have them. I have the ISSPRO and got it and supporting parts from them as well as good info on installation. I installed it myself - - not very hard if you are a little bit handy on engines (and from the looks of the buggy, you are). Some of the guys with bombed engines will put in additional gauges. The only other thing might be a tranny temp gauge if you are automatic.
5) Look right above you on this page for Wildcat's link. Click on it.

Good luck and again welcome.

Re:03 HO tech ?

Thanks, I totally spaced out the links above.
I'm also assuming it is easier to buy than build a cable, but still looking for someone with computer info.
