03 Ho egt question, useing predator and recon gauge.

03 Ho egt question, useing predator and recon gauge.
Installed the recon, not a bad little gauge hard to see in the sun though, need to make a hat for it.
Anyway the truck is stock cept for the new 285/75/17 Toyo's and the Diablo predator.
On performance I hit about 780 on the egt's boost hit 31 and 900 on extreme stack mode boost hit 36.
Getting about 250 ish at idle, installed it in the location quad recomended, seems to be a popular spot.
So does this sound low or about right?? I hear about ppl hitting 1300 plus and was scared lol. 900 in a WOT run from 0 to about 80 is all I could hit, maybe 930.

0-80 I'm around 980-1150 depending on the terrain.

but you guys are 05's. Not sure how much difference it makes. Either something is wrong with my truck, my gauge, or the location I put it in. I don't believe its the location, truck feels strong on extreme stacker but not as strong as my pops 05 on performance.

With my Commander the exhaust temp usually stays anywhere from 250-350 at idle and the max I usually see is around 1320-1330 only when running it very hard in the 140hp mode. Cruising down the road it reads from 600-900. But the readings you are seeing under acceleration seem to be low.

They Seem To Be Low.... I Have An 03 And I Am Way Hotter Than That Across The Board.... Everyone Is Right It Is Easy To Hit 1500... I Can Hit It In 1/8 Of A Mile With Everything Set On Full Blast

The prob is pre turbo, right around number 3 on top of the manifold. Just like it shows here under the dodge pyro section.

I did some more testing, 220 at Idle in N or P, 290-300 in D. Cruise at 60 is around 400-500 depending on hills. I ran it hard and hit 1k was prob 1/8th mile, was still going up but had to let out of it.
I have always said my truck seems to have a lack of power, its strong on ext stacker tune but just seems a little sluggish. I can spin tires but have to try and it just dont come close to my pops 05 on performance.
Could the EGT's be saying there is a issue, or is it possibly the gauge??
I am sure I could hit 1200 or so if I held it to the floor till over 100mph, well maybe I will have to try and see. I am just a bit afraid I am pushing higher egts then I am showing and could hurt it trying to figure it all out.
