'03/'07 5.9L Trans Cooler Cross Reference?
What is the best way to determine if a Trans Cooler off an '07 Ram 3500 will fit an '03 Ram 2500...
Pics of both units "look" nearly identical(?)
Radiator mounted Trans Coolers...

The picture in the catalog or on the web site is usually worthless. What you have/need may look completly differant. They take pictures of representative parts, not every single part.
Go down to your local library, and look in the Hollander Interchange manual.
Or, go to a good parts web site and look up the part numbers for both vehicles. If the part numbers don't match, neither will the parts.

Found pics of each cooler...
Just noticed the '07 Ram 3500 transmission cooler (right) does not have the spring activated temperature control valve, like the '03 Ram 2500 trans cooler (left) ... which is interesting since the '07 cooler (right) is off a 6.7 DIESEL.

Hmmmmm... just ran across a '05 Dodge Ram SRT-10 Transmission Cooler selling for $350 
It looks identical to my '03 Ram 2500 5.9L Trans cooler...which sells for $225!
