Just purchased a 02 2500 with 100,000 miles. Problem - start up and drive for the first 5 -10 min and will not pick up speed. Eng will build rpm but will not go. After 5-10 min will start to perform proporly. Do not know if time related or warm up. Trans or Eng problem?

have you checked the trans fluid level? that would cause those symptoms.

Your post is so vague it is tough to help you without having the truck here in front of me.
Has the fuel pressure been checked? When has the fuel filter been changed?
It the trans slipping ? If so, start it, put it in neutral for 1 minute, then try to drive away. Did that help it?
Does it have any gauges on it like, fuel pressure, EGT, or boost?
You can cycle the key, on/off/on/off/on and any codes will be read in the odometer window. Wait for the miles to re-appear, but write them all done.
What are those codes?
