02 cummins axle spline count
Im in need of a driver side axle shaft for my truck and have been shopping around. Ive seen a few listed and both are labeled for a dodge 2500-3500 dana 60. one says its a 30 spline inner and 33 spline outer shaft, the other says 35 inner and 33 outer. How many spline does the inner shaft have? Ive pulled my axle shafts numerous times but never bothered to count splines. Any help is appreciated. Thanks, Kyle

Well, I have owned a 94 and a 98.5 and have had several 2nd gen D60's
fronts apart so, take that for what it is worth. I have never seen or heard of anything but 32 spline for this specific generation of D60 front inner. That said, Dodge is renown for doing stupid inconsistent stuff with axle spline counts over the years so nothing would surprise me. Only way to be 100% sure about what YOU have is to count the splines yourself. Please post up if it is anything but 32 spline....this would be a first for me.

All manufactures have their fair share of changing things up without notice. I thought Ford was the most common one to do that too.
