'01 wheels on an '03?

No way.

2001 are 16 inch, 2003 are 17 inch.
It's also a pretty tight 17 inch, so no amount of grinding anything will allow them to squeeze on.

I don't know about that I think they will fit. I think the center hole and the 8 stud holes are the same on both. Anyone else with a thought?

I dont think the 16 inch wheels will work on a third gen. They have a larger rotor, that is why they come with 17 inch.

Ladies and gentleman, we have a winner!

Third gen wheels will fit a seccond gen, bun not the other way around, the brakes are to big.
