I have a #0 plate. I want to install no guages and gutted AFC. If i replace the AFC arm Do you think I could install the #0 plate moved slightly back and be safe. I am looking for everyones input.

When bombing these trucks gauges are a must. Unless you want to pay out the nose with she roasts herself I would get atleast a pyro gauge.

$100 for a pyro gauge is a must when u put more fuel in there. and $35 for a boost gauge is really nice to.

I vote for gauges heck I am doing a 10 plate but gauges going in 1st. atleast a pyro.

Why do you not want a gauge? Cost? Tim to install? Retain factory look?

I really do not know how to install. I have tackled some of the other stuff on my 4 different cummins and got it done. I am jsut kind of scared of trying to install gauges.

I did not mean to say I did not want to install them do want Pyro and boost in my truck.

Don't be scurred dude, it's easy. Do a couple searches, there are plenty of threads detailing how to do it, as well as links to other information on installing. Worse comes to worst, just ask what's on your mind and someone will answer it.

The hardest thing to do when installing gauges is finding a place to go through the fire wall. Seriously everything else is a walk in the park. When drilling and taping just go slow and coat the drill bits with grease so the catch most of the shavings then use a mechanics magnet to get the rest. basically after taping and finding a hole all you have to do is run the lines and hook up the wires to the fuse box if you want it to light up at night.
