Darnit Begle beat me to it. Are you considering going to an aftermarket tranny?

How many miles are on the tranny? Unless you plan on adding more than that I don't think you will need a whole transmission. Just a valve body on a healthy stock tranny would hold that. If you add a set of injectors a valve body and TC would probably hold those. But if you have a lot of miles I would suggest getting a basic Goerend for around 3K

Where the heck did you get that number? Also, a comparibly equipped Goerend tranny is gonna be right up there too.

A built goerends minus billet shafts is aroud 2850 plus shipping to and from. Total of around 3150. No where near $6000. and that is with converter

$750 which equals a billet shaft, + a warranty for 100,000 miles no questions, and lifetime warranty on the converter. hmmm.

Im not trying to argue with you here, I was just saying that your 6000 figure doesnt hold water, comparibly equipped. And I also never said that DTT wasnt more expensive.
