Pretty sweet!! I wish my folks hadn't got rid of their old 90 2500, always thought that'd been a cool (unusual) swap. Good luck man send some pics and vids in when she thunders to life!

Oh, how are you dealing with the front end? Is that IFS able to deal with all that weight and power?

I personally have no worries about the front end, Im going to crank the torsion bars up some so there not a whole lot of bounce to it but Its no more weight on it than the old 6.5 with a big old plow hanging out front or something so... There will DEFINITELY be vid's and pics when it rumbles to life and I CAN'T wait for that day!!!

Big, just out of curiosity, how did you deal with any interference between the front Diff and the oil pan? I am waiting for my 95 1 ton 4X4 GMC to arrive to stuff my 4BT into. Everyone tells me I have to whack the oil pan for clearance to the IFS.

How did you solve your clearance?

I cut about a 1" sliver off the pass side, front axle mounting bracket. The piece that the motor mounts bolt to, they flatten out at the bottom, So I cut that off and boxed it back in gave me enough clearance. You then have to watch out for the bolts and one tab on the differential housing itself, I had a little screw-type bottle jack holding the engine over while I took my measurements for the engine mounts and there was about 3/8-1/2" clearance on both sides...BTW I didnt smash anything to make it fit, not the oil pan or the firewall, you just need a little patience and try to see all of your options before mashing something together.
