Thats a fact. The only time mine didn't smoke with 6 x 16's was when I shut it down. 6 x 16 is the smallest injector recomended for a 14mm head and rotor.

Scheid or budda diesel would be a good place to get them made. Go over to 1stgen.org and check out all the big injector threads over there.

Which S300 are you thinking about? From experience a 62/65/12 is too small for those injectors with a maxed 12mm pump. A 62/71/?? would be a better choice.

What are you going to do about the drivetrain? Clutch or transmission, because they have no chance of holding that kind of power in stock form.

I think Richie has 6x16's in his extended cab with stock clutch? IDK maybe he doesn't have a stock clutch. His pump isn't maxed though. Probably pretty mild since he's putting 300hp to the wheels.

They are hazy at idle sadly. Then again, so are my DDP III's but I'm hoping this is a seperate issue for another thread...

Yup, stock clutch, yup, mild tune, and its 301 hp, not 300.
PToombs went as far as 388 hp on his stock clutch. He slipped it a few times trying to shift hard so he updated. My clutch has never slipped but I don't apply power while engaging it. Only wide open after its hooked up. Mine do haze and can be smokey at low boost. At my current tune its 44 to 45 psi boost on a 16cm with 60 gds H1C. I suspect with a high end turbo I would see 38 to 40 psi at same fuel level. ( less drive pressure )

I think any big injector is gonna be dirty and haze, especially if your pump is maxed. I know my truck does with just PODS and no afc, I can't wait to go bigger though.

Josh go big and throw some 6x18s and a twin setup in that beast

I have heard nothin but good stuff about coaltrain injectors and thats who I wanna go through when i upgrade to bigger sticks once i get a tranny and more turbo. I've also heard good things about scheid and New Era. I don't know what Industrial Injection has for 1st gen injectors, haven't really checked with them, but i would check with all those companies and see.

No, my boy was in the truck with me and he was helping push the pedal down. He was all nervous ( 9 years old ). He's like " Im not supposed to be in the truck ".

I have noticed my 89 with stock sticks now haze also since that pump is putting all it can out. It never used to haze at idle before I got crazy.

J-L Machine supposedly does 6x16's and so does SDX. I haven't heard much about either but I know people that have dealt with SDX and very impressed with the company.

I would sure hope a SB DD would hold them.
