I run it at 128:1. I've talked to people in the fuel making bussiness about how they get the sulfer out of diesel. I think lubricity tests on ULSD speak for themselves, and the same tests on additives point to 2 cycle oils help in that department. I don't know if the newer trucks would need it as they were made to run on it, but older trucks will benifit from it. I don't see how it could take out a lift pump though. Lubricating a pump usually doesn't hurt it at all.

Use it when I have to run ULSD. Quiets things down considerable. About 1 oz. per gal.

I've been running it at 200:1. On average, a fill up for me is 25 gallons. 1 quart at each fill up. I do have a mechanical fuel pump now, so losing a lift pump is no longer in the equation (although I don't see how added lube would cause a pump to fail).

I use a gallon of 2 stoke oil and a gallon of atf and then go at the pump and fuel her up! She runs great and gets good mpg's. Now when the winter comes i also throw in a gallon of gas as well. Now my truck has a 45 gallon tank as well. It's not a Dodge truck but a conversion. So far so good and i have been doing it for 4 years now.

If I could not get biodiesel easily- and for same price, I would use it, and did @ 1qt/tank until bio was here. You CANNOT BUY ANY ADDITIVE that will improve lubricity as good as bio, and it keeps whole system clean, from fuel tank on. Enough to stop up your fuel filter if tank is older and dirty.

Used power service before the two stroke in my 2000 dodge. Sold the 2000
in June 09, still had the original VP at 203,000 and was on its third LP. The ratio was 1/2 oz per gallon. Running 1/2 oz per gallon in the 06. Dave

Do not want to step on any toes or get anybody upset but putting gas in the diesel was an old trick that may not be good with the newer closer toleranced injectors. And the atf has been proven to not be good either, atf has a friction modifier that wears out injections parts. I would guess the gallon of two stroke made up for the atf.
And I agree 100% that nothing beats bio for lubricity, now if we can just get some anti gel, cetane modifier, injector cleaner and other things into the bio at the pump we would have the best of the two worlds. LargeCar ![]() ![]() ![]() |

My answer is yes because there is no evidence whatsoever that it hurts anything. And there is a lot of "personal proof" that it helps.
I figure that why not.
