1St gen 12 valve in a 99 1500 2wd?

I bought a new 2wd 1500 in 99.other than the normal trans issues for that year it's been a good truck.I put a fab tech 3" lift on it a while back, which has heavier springs than stock.I also replaced all balljoints with moog grease fitting type ball joints. Then I ran across a 93 d250 with 127000 original miles for a grand, estate sale couldnt pass it up. runs great but it's beaten up bad.how hard would it be to convert my 1500 to a 12 valve?I guess the ? is will the fab tech suspension hold up?Thanks

Yeah, the suspension will be fine. If it sits too low you can use diesel springs.

Getting the dash to work will be a challenge.

Check your state laws before you start swapping, quite a few states won't let you install an engine older than the chassis.
