'03 HD Incentives

The only current incentive offered on the '03 HD Ram is a lease returnee compensation of $1,000.00.

However, the current Dodge incentive cycle ends November 4th. So, I figure if my truck gets here in the next week (doubtful, but could happen) I'll conveniently be out of town until November 5th - hoping some new incentives will come out.

I heard a rumor (maybe over at TDR) Dodge had a Firefighter/LEO discount certificate. I called the Dodge rebate center - no dice.

Best to y'all
Bill

Re:'03 HD Incentives

My dealer indicated that the accessories incentive could not be used with the Farm $500 incentive. There is a whole form to fill out, etc.

I chatted at length with the dealer today. He is suggesting I might want to wait until the 4th to take delivery and see what is in the new package. With GM hitting 0 - 0 - 0 on the adds, maybe Dc will come up with something. Might not hurt. I will go take it for a ride and park it somewhere secure where bozzos will not be taking it out for joy rides and try to smoke the tires. I will make up my mind tomorrow, but that is not a bad idea. Even at the lousy earnings on your money today, leaving that money in a money market could earn a couple thousand dollars over 5 years. ;D ;D ;D Do I quell the urges, or be really practical. Oh, mercy, who will win?? ??? I know - - - the CFO.

Can'tmakeupmymindBob

Fiver

Not sure what the "incentives" rebate is you are talking about. The one I am referring to I got from telling Dodge months ago I wanted "more info" and they sent the $500 chit along with brochure, just had to order my truck by Sept. 30

Just spoke with dealer, he is gonna call the transporter and get an ETA

He has "no idea what Chrysler might do" on Nov 4

Hunter

:'( Yeah - I tried for that certificate by asking for info as well. Crapped out.

I called the Dodge Rebate Center yesterday - the rep said that they don't send out the discount certificates to everyone who requests 'em - that it's "a random process." Cripes, I can't get respect. :P

I can only hope my Karma is good and I'll hear good news on the new incentive cycle. At the worst, I'll still end up with a wonderful truck - I just want a CHEAPER wonderful truck. ;D

Best to y'all
Bill

Re:'03 HD Incentives

Talked with my dealer again this afternoon. It is fascinating. The dealers don't have a clue what the Nov. 4 program will have. On that morning, they will all head for the fax machine and see what DC sent to them overnight. I guess it is a big thing in the offices. Luke could probably shed more light on this stuff.

I was considering letting mine sit until the 4th and see what the new package holds. He said he felt the incentives will be good, but rather selective. He also commented that typically previous incentives end. That leaves me wondering whether to take what I know in the $500 rebate and run with it rather than hope for 0% and end up with nothing. I all ready got a great deal - - probably ought to quit being greedy and GO PICK UP THAT GORGEOUS SWEET PURRING LITTLE KITTY KAT AND BRING IT HOME TO PAPA.

The CFO informed me she will be looking for the Great White Ghost at the airport tomorrow night. Soooooooooo???????? I really hate like mad to have to go get it, but I better do what the wife says, don't you guys agree. 8) 8)

TickledBob
ps: eat yo' hart out, Hunter.
Re:'03 HD Incentives

My dealwer told me that you will never see 0% interest on the HD Ram because they are so popular. In Canada thery are offering 3.8% interest rate for 3 years. Thats not bad!!

Proudrammer
