Hey everyone. I haven't been on DTR in a long time, I think since '08. I am thinking about selling my truck. I don't drive it much and it only has around 50K miles on it (I'll have to check that to make sure though). Posting here in the MD33 forum because I'd prefer local sale if possible.
The truck is in excellent condition. It's very clean, silver, sport package long bed 4 door with cab lights and all power features and linex bedliner. I have several thousands in the mods, which were all installed by Ladell at East Coast Diesel or over at Scott's garage with the whole crew of MD33 guys helping out. The mods are listed on my sig below, I may be missing a few added on later but for the most part they are all there. I also have seat covers, dash cover, no "53 block", a fluidampr (not installed still new in the box) and the truck runs great. Fluids have been changed regularly and I used only the best synthetic lubricants in the truck. Absolutely nothing wrong with this truck, and lots of guys here have seen it and can vouch for it. I have a clean title, there's no damage or accidents to this truck, and it's been pampered pretty much. I have all the records and reciepts as well.
Where is the classifieds section by the way? Seems like they changed things since I was on here, I can't seem to find it...I'd like to post there as well. Maybe try to post in the 2nd gen 24V section to get some traffic and thoughts about this feeler.
I am looking to take offers on the truck, I'll have to see what the relative pricing on autotrader and such is for but I've seen mid twenties for vehicles of this year and mileage (of which I only saw a few listings as such low miles is very hard to find, this Cummins isn't hardly broken yet!). In addition with the mods I have I think there is significant value in this truck. I am not going to expect to get back what I paid for in mods but I think I'd like to get at least 50 cents on the dollar for the mods...my loss is the new owner's gain I suppose is how it works

Looking at Mid twenties...I just got the 50K service done, fluids etc. Truck looks and runs perfect. There is some negotiation room as well. Please let me know. Also feel free to come and check it out and drive it. thanks

My reason for selling: I have several vehicles and I am consolidating them based on usage. I am selling my BMW daily driver and my truck because I hardly ever drive the truck, I will end up getting a daily driver that I can tow upto 7K lbs with because that's all I really need, I don't tow often enough and my load is not heavy at all, just a car trailer and race car. Oh and one more thing, the truck has a brand new trailer Takonsha Brake controller installed in the cab. No expense was spared with the parts on the truck...I always got the best of everthing, like the exhaust is stainless steel of the highest of the 3 grades MBRP offers etc...the TC cost me $1200 just for the part...everything was pro installed as well. The onlky things I was going to do if I ketp it was F1 Mach 1 or slightly larger than stock injectors and haqve the fluid dampr installed, that's all. Whoever buys this is going to have an incredibly clean and awesome running rig for sure!

20s ? i have an 00 and a 01 and the best book on the 3500 01 is 13 and its loaded i think your a bit high
Yeah looks like a tough market...,my truck has 49K miles on it only and it's in perfect condition with some very nice mods...I'd like to get mid twenties but am open to negotiation...it's an 01 Sport model as well, I always liked the styling of the Sport with the matched grille, cab lights etc...
If anyone is interested in comeing to have a look, test drive etc...just let me know...like I said I am open to negotiation on the price :-)

I'm very interested in buying a truck just like yours, but like the other poster had said, your high on your price.......there have been several 01's and 02's on AUTOTRADER, 3 of them had 20 something thousand miles and were asking 21-23K.......I was told that 2 of them sold for around 20K......you say come and see it, your a long way from me, so there's not much point in wasteing both of our time, if you cant tell me "WHAT WILL BUY " your truck....$$$

i sold my black 2001.5 it was a 2500 sport 4x4 quadcab 6 speed 51,600 miles with a 4 inch lift 35in pro comp xterrians bedrug the $400 ones it had a cummins mural on the back snap on bed cover carbon fiber all on the inside dash and doors it had the edge juice w a2 monitor and halo headlights tails and 3rd brake light and i sold it june of 2009 for $18,000 no wrecks clean title clean as can be cloth seats all power except the mirrors it had tow mirrors also i regret selling it and think of it everyday i have a viper truck now and would trade it in a minute for my old truck

I hear you guys on the price...I am willing to negotiate a bit...the winter is here and honestly of the truck doesn't sell I'll just drive it over the winter and try again in the spring. This truck is perfect in every way, drives great and looks great, is not used for work, clean as a whistle inside and out and it's nicely modded and maintained (by me) so I know that she's a fantastic rig in every way possible...I am open to offers, and although other trucks may have sold for less I am not at the "must sell to make quick cash" mode, if nobody wants it I'll just keep it. If anyone is interested and can come up with a reasonable offer I would be interested in discussing. Please let me know and I wish all of you a happy holidays and prosperity in the coming year!
